Junior Front End Developer

As a Junior Front-End Developer, you will help build and improve user interfaces, working with technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create compelling web pages. You will work alongside the team on current projects and develop solutions that maximise the user experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Building responsive, mobile-friendly web pages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Improving user interfaces and the user experience
• Contributing to the design of web applications and making visual refinements
• Ensuring web pages load quickly and efficiently
• Making continuous improvements based on user feedback
• Testing compatibility across a range of browsers and devices
• Contributing to project development and integration together with team members
• Maintaining web projects and keeping them up to date

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with responsive and mobile-friendly web design
• Basic knowledge of web development tools and frameworks (for example Bootstrap, jQuery)
• Command of Git and version control systems
• Ability to design and build user-friendly interfaces
• A team player who is eager to learn and solution-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js or Angular
• Experience using CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS)
• Knowledge of web performance, SEO and user experience
• Experience with RESTful API integration
• Knowledge of agile working methods
• Good command of English (preferred)
